For 30 years, Austrian company Viking has been a dependable name for garden machinery, particularly for mowers, although Viking is now also the top name in garden shredders and there are other machines in the range.
Mowers
The Viking range of lawn mowers, which includes robotic mowers, ride-on mowers, scarifiers and rotavators, makes gardening safe and easy, thanks to their simple operation and maintenance. Lightweight and compact, they offer the best possible manoeuvrability, especially where space is tight, and they have solutions for every mowing situation: stately home lawns or pocket handkerchief grass patch, there’s a mower to suit. There is also a lawn tractor range, side-discharge and high grass mowing mowers.
The new Mulching lawnmowers finely cut and re-cut the grass to such a degree that when the mower discharges the cuttings they are hidden within the standing grass where they wilt and decompose, thereby feeding the soil.
Scarifiers
Viking electric and petrol scarifiers remove lawn thatch and aerate the soil to give your lawn room to breathe, and grow lush and green.
Shredders
Viking’s powerful garden shredders deal with all natural raw materials such as tree, hedge or plant cuttings, making short work of hard branch material as well as soft organic waste such as flower cuttings or leaves and significantly reducing your volume of waste for composting or disposal.
Tillers (or Rotavators)

Finding A Lawn Mower That Best Suits You
Here are some points to bear in mind when making your selection:
What size is your lawn?
We recommend our handy models (2, 3, 4 and 5 Series) for small to medium lawns up to 500 sq. m. Larger mowers with additional equipment are suitable for larger expanses of lawn up to about 2,500 sq. m.
Electric motor or petrol engine?
An electric lawn mower is ideal for smaller mowing jobs. It is quiet-running and produces no exhaust emissions. For larger mowing operations on uneven terrain it's preferable to choose a sporty petrol engine.
Collect the grass or mulch?
All lawn mowers come with a grass catcher box as standard. Each model can also be supplied with a mulching kit if desired.
